What I would like is a bit more reinforcement on the side-walls if possible (tempted by some Goodyear MTRs but they don't produce them in a 19" rim anymore from what I can work out). Don't particularly care about compromising the comfort (I upgraded from a Series III 88 to a 300Tdi Defender to a FF so it's pretty damn good as it is).

The MTR's aren't as strong as the GG's...

I did three of them in the lakes, the problem is sidewall height, you have about 5 inches of sidewall with a 29" tyre on a 19" rim and whatever tyre you use it will get pinched and damage the sidewall...

I've dropped down to 18" rims and 32" tyres in GG A/T2's and have given them some abuse and have no damage at all... Pete

18" rims would be great, but they were not available here.

That's annoying, could you not use some quality aftermarket 18" wheels, or even import some from here, they are very cheap here second hand as everyone wants larger ones....

This is the Range Rover 18" wheel

I never looked at aftermarket rims, but I really like the OEM 18's that were available to you guys. I would love to have a set so I could get an A/T tire with more sidewall.

I searched ebay UK a few times. Maybe I'll find someone here who wants to sell a set and won't mind shipping them to the U.S.

I am also very envious of your under body protection. If you had a winch I'd be tempted to come "borrow" your FF.

Dunno if they'll fit your FF but Ł250 for 4 is brilliant. I bought a set for winter tyres and they shipped them to me in France. Contact them – maybe they’ll ship to the US also …. It's "bĂ©bĂ©choon", ackcherly, with accents. 'Steve' to my chums.
20 years ownership of Solihull products, ALL GONE NOW, sniff!
Current motor: Suzuki S-Cross 4WD auto, 1.4 petrol. Oh so reliable! 5 years now and no problems. Oh, all right then, a leaking shocker replaced under guarantee.
