Do you know if the roof lining needs to be cut? I'm also presuming that there will be some fixing / drilling into the headlining so once fitted .....its fitted and 'stays with the vehicle'!

Yes, you do have to cut a section out of the headlining (I've just called a friend who works at a local Stealers.)

Yes, from what i remember, there is a template showing how/where to cut and trim the headlining,,
Its a fit and leave job,,,
