Front fog lights hazed up

Folks,

It seems my front fog lights are quite badly steamed/hazed-up. Any work around to resolve this or replace them? I am presuming this is a common problem as I have seen a number of Range Rovers around with similar appearance.

usually if you leave them on for a while the condensation should disappear. I opened mine up previously and cleaned the inside but condensation returned. I think its typical of this time of year with the variance in temperatures. Present :2008 TDV8 HSE

£20 for a pair of front fog lights that fit the RR? I am assuming you are talking just about the blubs and not the housing/lenses.

They get "stained" inside (like the windows in your car) so if you remove them they do prise apart and you can simply wipe the inside clean my friend... Will return over time but its probably taken many years for them to get as dirty as they are now Thumbs Up

And if they are anything like mine were, the silvering on the reflectors will also be in a state Big Cry .

Nope there are a few complete lights for 20 to 30 a pair just get the right size and you can adjust or make the brackets fit easily enough then click the bumper shroud back on over the top hq_auto_lighting_uk has a lot of sizes _____________________________________________________

Thanks all for the replies. I am assuming removal and re-fitting is not straight forward? Removal of the whole bumper, engine and transmission Smile ?

ok - thanks. That's a lot easier than I thought. I don't have those surrounds on my fog lights, in fact, I'll have to check whether they have any surrounds as my mind has gone blank now.

EDIT - I do have surrounds Smile I am assuming since I don't have a push fit bezel like on the RRS that the FF bezel just pulls out or levers out?

Re: Front fog lights hazed up

Thanks for this advice. I will probably try and remove over the weekend. Literally, pull off the surround, unscrew the lamp, unclip the connector from the back of the lamp, remove the lamp, prise apart and clean, put back? Sounds too simple Razz
