Looking to buy a range rover, and here in Wales we have already switched over to the digital signal, is there anyway of modifying the TV in the Range Rover to receive a digital signal?

Cheers

Search on eBay for BMW Hybrid:

These may or may not fit yours, but they are the sort of thing you are looking for.

there are two types, 02 to 05 bmw system 05 onwards ford based system..
go for the car pc ,cheaper and you will get far more out of it, as long as its a pre touch screen.

Daveo can you use the standard screen for the PC connect or do you replace that for a touch model?

I have all my Nav equipment running through a tablet pc in turn connected to a 7" lilliput touch screen running centrafuse in the Defender works very well but is designed to be totally removed in 2 mins, would love to hear your thoughts on a permanent solution for the 02-05 FFRR

hi, you use the pre touch screen, the res its not brill but is good enough to do the job, there are a few people working on a screen replacement with a high res, just the screen so you get to keep the origanal unit and looks V8 facelift Range Rover Autobiography 22" wheels.

hi, my set up is all in the boot, i use an acer one netbook with an external hard drive, this is connected to the car via video interface lead from the tv tuner, and is controlled by the usb ibus interface, this allows you to control it from the front, as i said it replicates the menu so unless you know about car x you are none the wiser.
then you have all the function of a pc, internet, external cameras, videos, music and of course digital tv.. V8 facelift Range Rover Autobiography 22" wheels.

hi yes, the 12v supply is on the ignition, the pc is set to restart after power fail so when the batt goes flat as soon as the ignition is on it will restart but it very realy goes that far as the standby life is great,
you can get the video interface lead from ebay, they do two types, you want the one with the camera reverse input along with the switch wire the uses pin 17, when this gets a ground to it "from the ibus interface" it will auto switch the front monitor over to display what you are inputting on the reverse cam iput,ie your pc signal..
