FAULTY REVERSING CAMERA , OR NOT ?

Reversing camera not working or is it ?

I have a 2008 TD V8 on which the reversing camera no longer comes on when selecting reverse. However, when I do the 753 hack I can get the image from the camera so it's obviously working, but it says under the image 'not fitted'. Any ideas how to get the car to know that it's fitted ?

Any ideas would be appreciated.

It sounds like the camera has got removed from the CCF files on the satnav system, may be able to restore it with a good diagnostics tool, such as an IID tool.

Otherwise it could be a trip to a good Indy garage or (god forbid) the Main Stealers to get the system put on diagnostics and the camera function restored.
