Off the top of my head Gary? I honestly could not tell you sir... Chargeable times are all spat out of "Autodata" And are rarely actually relevant to the time a job actually takes to do right!

Most models of FF have a slightly different rear brake setup! So i guess would all vary very slightly?

"Tis a time consuming job to do 'correctly' though Gary... " Thumbs Up

Our Land Rover owned Independent KLLR charge £210 labour if you supply your own parts so:

£340 total is about the cheapest you can expect down south is you buy your own parts from Euro Car parts.

That labour charge can't be far less than the OP is being quoted Gary? Taken into account the higher cost of Gen OE parts Whistle

Just pointing out that a £120 saving can be had by buying the parts and using a labour only independent.

Why don't you quote what you would charge for comparison Craig? Rear brakes/discs must surely be a common enough job for you... Whistle

We had the main stealer wanting to replace pads & discs all round, took it to our local garage and asked his opinion he said rears only. The total cost for rear discs & pads including fitting was £136.00 plus VAT. Thumbs Up

That is cheap! I would need to keep to genuine parts though due to the warranty.

I don't think that Land Rover ever offer a warranty on brakes ? So using pattern parts should be fine ?

You know they would use any excuse to body swerve a potential claim though. The warranty is up in Spetember of this year and I'm not sure if I will renew after that.

Just my 10p's worth on Brake components. I recently did a site visit at a warehouse near Derby.
There they were unloading pallets of brake disks from China in various diameters and PCD's. They were then being boxed up as any of the brands you see for sale,
Whistle Whistle Mine was a blue one! Smile

I don't know what brand Dan all I know is that he uses a local independent Factor and he has done the brakes on all our Sprinter vans & Range Rover Sport and I've never had a problem with any of the jobs. His labour for the discs and pads was just 1 hour @ £45.00 plus VAT not sure if that is the normal time for this?
