Sorry forgot all about the ebay thing! Embarassed Embarassed Embarassed

1990 Mazda Eunos (MX5) Automatic

We have owned this extremely reliable car for the last 8 years, and it has been the daily driver for my wife. Time has come for it to move on.

The car is an import so was first registered in Japan in 1990 then brought to the UK in 1998. It is currently on a private plate which will be removed before sale, the original registration was VAZ 1704 so hopefully this one will come back from the DVLA. The V5 indicates it is a 1300cc engine, but it is not it is a 1600cc. Mileage is 130,000 km (as shown on speedometer) so 81,250 miles.

Highs

Extremely reliable
Still pulls like a train
Cheap, wind in the hair motoring
@ 32 mpg
All tyres with 4/5mm tread, on Falkens
MOT until July 15 2015
Fitted new rear springs
Fitted replacement front struts (2nd hand)
New thermostat Aug 2011
Last oil change Aug 2011 (114000 km)

Lows

Air Conditioning has never worked (never tried to get it to...)
Dent in front left wing (see picture)
Boot unlock in centre console doesn't work
MOT man always complains about an oil leak, but it never uses any oil, and no smoke from engine
Exhaust on its way out
Red paint faded on bonnet and boot (photos taken after a wash so still wet!)
Bodywork (paintwork) needs some TLC to make completely beautiful again
Split in rear window

Offers @ £400 to forum members .
