No need to keep a check on my speed, I've got one of them wife things fitted to the passenger seat of my ff, constantly reminding me how fast in going with the tent on the back Rolling Eyes
I have to keep reminding her that she's the one who's been on a speed awareness course, not me, that usually keeps her quiet for a few miles Laughing

We bought a Lunar Delta TS 2 years ago after seeing a write up in the CC magazine, went from a Swift Conquerer 655, 2 years on and were still loving it, tows much better than the Swift, just seems more stable but that may be down to the ATC. Got a mega deal from a dealer in Oxford, was worth travelling all that way.

Some forums moan about quality of finish but ours has been great so far, had an issue with the long thin roof window crazing at the sides but was changed under warranty with no problems.

Set cruise and relax, good to know you've got loads of extra grunt if required 👍🏻

Hope you enjoy yours as much as we do ours.

^^pejay I've had my 2010 TL for a few years now and I have to say it's been OK.

We have however had a few issues with the roof vents over the shower, microwave and the rear roof lights, this was less a lunar issue and more a sealant manufacturer issue.

A quick reseal and all is well (bit of a pain to do the rear rooflight as it was still mostly stuck).

So I would watch the sealants on the roof, particularly round the small vents which are usually held on with screws from underneath and clamp onto the roof like a sandwich. The sealant can fail but the vent not leak. I undo the screws annually and check they are still stuck down...... There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Thanks for the advice and encouraging words chaps.
Not been anywhere in anger with the van yet, hopefully SWMBO will be off to Chatsworth next week to try it out.
Had a good look around it and it seems well sorted, maybe too many fancy interior lights for me, but hey ho !!
Thumbs Up

We spend alot of time around Chatsworth, it's one of our fave places.
Always go for the weekend to the country fair.
Golden Gates caravan park, i.e. temporary site inside the park just off Baslow roundabout.

@NMJ thanks for the tip, I'll keep an eye out for it, although I wonder as ours was new in 2015 and listed as a new model maybe they've dealt with this issue......wishful thinking probably!

We were at Chatsworth recently for the inaugural RHS flower show, it was handy to open the gate from the site and walk through the park, especially as some people took 3 hours to get in due to traffic in the country lanes outside! That was the week of the rainstorms so a good test for the watertightness of the van, passed that test 👍🏻, however we were on a serviced pitch under a cherry tree and the van looked like a Dalmatian dog at the end of the week!

Having worked in the caravan industry, I must say things are very hit and miss! Even though quality control and build techniques are much better then even five years ago, it still depends on the luck of the draw if you get a good one or not and the price of the van doesn't give you any special treatment either. Current: TDV8 (3.6) RRS HSE
