Gearbox Oil TDV8 - ZF 6HP 26

ZF Lifeguard 6 Fluid is the recommended oil for this box however, if a double flush is the order of the day, this can work out very expensive when it's, at cheapest, £15.60 per litre.
what are the Forums thoughts on using after market oil that meets the requirements of Shell M1375.4
