Hi I have a random fault on dash hdc inactive abs airsuspention inactive when plugged in fault Cade is Canbus fault and steering angle Sensor and abs speed sensor when cleared this come back but only on first start up in the morning then clears itself for the rest. Of the day any ideas alternater and battery are new

The steering angle sensor in your car tends to wear itself into the land of excessive resistance. The SAI sensor sends signals through the controller area network which, if invalid, will turn off components such as abs, EAS, and traction control. HDC is controlled by the ABS modulator. So, in short, you can calibrate the sensor every time it faults by stopping the vehicle and turning the wheel lock to lock, or you can more permanently replace the steering angle sensor.

Hi thanks for the reply the only way I can reset this fault is by plugging it in to a computer but could this still be steering angle sensor it resets lock to lock if battery disconnected but that's the only time hope this makes sence

Ok will take the plunge and order one am I right in saying this can be done by just lifting the column up then replace and recalabrate

The sensor is at the base of the column, not terrible to get to. Just replace and recalibrate.
