Sat Nav System Software Upgrade

How do you upgrade the system software on the touch screen system? I've got a new software DVD and a new Map DVD, just need to know how undertake the software update.

if these discs are from where i think they are, you first insert the software disc which upgrades your firmware , and then you insert the mapping disc which gives you the up date 2013/13 maps..

if you already have a 2011/12 mapping disc then you dont have to upgrade the firmware.. ... - .- -.
