Tong pay and play.

According to their web site, the next pay and play day at Tong is the 15th March. Is anyone planning on going?

Prob not, but its great fun.....keep off the black runs and make sure you have all your documents as you wont get in without them. Book in advance on line for a small discount. My profile picture was taken there.

If you get the bug, join a greenlaning club. I can recommend a very organised and friendly one if you or anybody else Private Messages me. We do a good mix of non-harm, rough and sh Censored your pants terrain to get your FF to stretch its legs properly.

I have been and loved it! I went in a modified D3 and I can say that the "Defender" tracks are a wee bit narrow for a Full Fat/D3/D4 but they do fit. The lake is great to wade through. Thumbs Up

I do fancy a bit of green laning, but not sure I want to subject the paintwork to the same sort of abuse Haylands put his through.

We do some gentle ones too, or you're welcome to ride shotgun in my Disco next time if you're free as I see you're in WYks.

Ping me a PM if you want to have a play out.

Thanks for that Paul, I may do. I'm not against laning in the Rover I just don't fancy the hardcore stuff that may cause damage and take it off the road. Something nice and gentle across the moors would be a great day out.

I used to love Laning and camping out in the wild.Been the old glass rep many many years ago was just great going out checking new lanes. Sadly my 90 has now changed and the lanes I used to do have also changed, some for the worse ,strata florida for one, brilliant lane as its hard core all the way, fords in abundance, but still some T**ts have cut up the banks and made a mess to miss the deep water sections, makes me cross really. If it dont work.......burn it!

If the IId tool cant fix it.......burn the FF.

If the FF cant be fixed......buy a Land Cruiser!

If the LC cant be fixed..............................................BUY a horse !!

Yep, first drove Strata back in the late eighties and it was superb, and unspoilt, now looks like a pay and play site in places..... Pete
