Interesting find, the dreaded VAT (if you're not a business) is painful though.

So in other words
2years / 10k miles / Includes tax but not servicing or tyres
Total over the term = £10,230.48
Or £426.27 per month for 24 months
Or £0.98 per mile (assuming you do 10k exactly)
The things to watch here are
1) what is the excess mileage charge? It will be very easy to exceed 5k pa!
2) what is the end of life refurn policy? It's very easy to get stung for repairs on items which are fair wear and tear.

On one hand, a new car worth £47k+ is always going to cost a few bob. For me, personally, I just object to paying out £10.2k and having nothing at all to show for it at the end.

Good find though, it's good value for a business user who, as you say, does very low miles. 2006 4.2 SC

^ As this is a VAT registered business offer for peeps like me the figures are:

Total Cost £8225
Monthly Cost £238
Monthly Cost £342 (average inc deposit)
£79 a week
£11:30 a day (Three Cappuccino's) Shocked

0.82 per mile

This car will suffer much higher depreciation than that if bought outright me thinks. Trade value only £32-35 after 10k & two years

Good Deal for a Brand New "R" Line 264 BHP 4 Wheel Drive Leather Clad Machine...

Brand new free Luxury 4X4 car for three less Coffees a day.

Latest version looks like the new Cayenne as well:

I love the daily rate, man maths at its best! Thumbs Up

VAT still needs to be paid though, business or private! If the business is VAT registered it can only reclaim 100% of the VAT if the vehicle is used exclusively for business use, so you can't go to the shops or seaside in it!

If the vehicle is used privately, 50% of the finance element only can be claimed.

HMRC do not bat an eyelid on commercial vehicles and / or pickups being classed as "business only". They understandbly get very inquisitive about passenger cars being used for business only and never use for any private trips though.

Either way, nice car, good price and as say you say, probably better than what the drepreciation would be on your own.... 2006 4.2 SC

With that low mileage limit as long as you have another car registered in your name for so called private use you should be fine especially if your a car dealer so no net VAT..... Very Happy

Only allowed 14 miles a day average though (Reverse Man Maths)

MAN MATHS ON A SUNDAY

VW TOUAREG - FREE for 3 1 Cappuccinos (plus biscuit)

I keep coming back to the idea of a brand new 2015 Model Luxury 4X4 for £10 a day that can be handed back in 24 months. I would also save lots on fuel (£1500) , depreciation (£2000) and any repairs/servicing need for next 24 months (Say £750) so that makes it just £5 a day or £166 a month..... (One Cappuccino & a biscuit a day)

So I configured one with only Metallic as an option:

2008 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Stornoway Grey

I took a bit of an Audi / VW kicking a few weeks back saying I really like these...at the time there was a host of people who had massive issues with the Toerag....one comment even suggested the chap was a VW mechanic and it was a hateful car !!

I still like it..... Is this where I put the car details and a bit about myself ?........
