Has anyone had the security upgrade/recall done? I had a letter from LR about it and booked it in at the dealers to be done. They called me up yesterday and left a message saying there wasn't much point in having it done because it didn't actually work.

Anyone had this done or know anything about it?

I was told by the dealer that the security upgrade has a habit of randomly immobilising the vehicle. The only model it seems to work on without issue is the Freeloader.

I think I will pass on that "upgrade" for the time being then.
