United Kingdom 2002 Range Rover HSE Td6 Zermatt Silver
new to RR II ... a few queries though ...

Hi Everybody!
As the title says, I could do with a few questions being answered by the knowledgeable Gurus on this site, please.
My first problem is that a few bits of trim need upgrading/replacing as the vehicle is a L322, HSE, 2002 model.
I believe that my trim is 'cherry' wood. It is only light in colour and I dont think that its walnut, can someone let me know the difference please?
I could do with a sat nav too as this model doesn't have one. which one do you recommend please?
The front and rear parking sensors dont appear to work, but I believe that you a actually switch them on and off. Any advice on this issue would be great too. If I do press the 'P' button the light indicator flashes rather than stays lit, is this correct? I presume is suggests a fault, but where do I start looking ?
PowerfulUK appear to have most of the trims and parts for Range Rovers, are there any other 'players' in this market?
And also.... and I know that this problem is general with HSE's, what does one do about the door armrest 'crumpling' problem??
Thanking you for your help in anticipation. Smile

Welcome.

To aid your searching a bit, if you want a sat nav that's built into the car you are best fitting an android unit, they are aftermarket and have the nav, music, media player etc. Haylands,a member on here, has done an excellent thread about fitting it to a Vogue with the amps and bits in the boot. Yours should be much easier as there is nothing in the boot to connect to, it's all in the dash.

The light should stay lit when the P is pressed.

Cherry wood is orange, walnut is dark brown, if that helps.

You will need to get the faults read by a garage or invest in an iidtool. Plenty on here about the iidtool. 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8

Not only but also...

Thank you for those answers, I will do as you have advised.
It is a light wood, so cherry it is then Smile
..and I will fill in the profile bit too.
ALSO ..
The front drivers and passenger seats have rubbishy, plastic surround with a silvery/foil plasticy bit on top of that... what is to be done with that to refurb etc... if anything??!

Cheers again.
And thanks to the person who moved my original post into this section.

Seat trims can be bought from Dan , one of the site sponsors, just look down the main index page to get his details.

It looks as though I may wish to change the foundry finish by the gear stick and perhaps the aircon/console area too. The rear panel for the heated rear seat switches and ciggy lighter is prob another replace. And without doubt, the door handle ( internal) caps, which are currently foundry will want replacing too.
Thank you 'Knowledge Is Power'
