Thoughts on Gloss black trim on cream leather ?

Cant make my mind up on weather to get the trim in my car changed to piano black. My interior is parchment cream with blue carpets, top dash etc. I'm not a fan of the plastic wood trim but just unsure how the gloss black will look against the cream and blue. I know i could vinyl wrap them and then if i don't like it i can return to standard, i might have todo it like this but trouble is even if i like it i would need to remove the wrap and then paint, gloss vinyl dose not give anywhere near the depth of paint especially gloss black. Most people probably wouldn't be bothered about this but i would and being an interior part it would annoy me constantly !

been searching for a while to try and find some pics of a car with this done but can't find any only one i found was this, however this car is the updated interior which mines isn't.

Anyone got this setup in the car or even something similar gloss gunmetal etc ?

I like It Thumbs Up

Black is great, cream is a bridge too far for me with young kids but the combo is good fella ! Is this where I put the car details and a bit about myself ?........

My car had the cherry red wood painted piano black, the day before I decided I wanted it! with the same interior as you, it looks fine and people like it, however I intend to change it for cherry at some stage! Regards

My tuppence worth... I don't think the gloss black sits well with the blue.
Cream and black is a fantastic colour combo, but the blue just looks "not black"....

have you considered hydrographics rather than a wrap? would look better and have a better finish possibly.

ill be giving hydrographics a go once i finish with the exterior.

Thanks for the replies guys. No doubt I will post up the results if I go ahead with it.

Hydro graphics is still a permanent solution. Plus only if you want a carbon etc would it be an option. I do really like the gloss carbon trim with an all black interior but not in mine I'm afraid. Range Rover Vogue 2006 4.4 AJV8 | Buckingham Blue | Parchment Leather | Supercharged Grill+Side Vents | CA02 HEY ( NOT 02 PLATE )
