Australia 2008 Range Rover Supercharged 4.2 SC V8 Rimini Red

I tried a BMW snap in in my last FF , no go unless you're good with a soldering iron . It's a similar but different sized connector. 2008 MY Supercharged
Rimini Red / Jet
four zone climate
remote park heater
and no ugly kid windows.

I wonder if it would work if the base plate that the cradles clip into was swapped over. I would expect they have a short harness on the back of them that connects to the main wiring loom, might be easier to correct the wiring at that point?
