small but very annoying niggle

Im sure some other fussy fart has noticed this

the lack of a place to put you right arm when driving, all my other vehicles have had a natural place as an arm rest, the rangies height of the door card is just too high, the arm rest is slightly slopped down, on a long journey is a pain, and yes officer I do know that both hands should be on the wheel at 10 to 2

has anyone come up with a solution .

Eeeeer... raise the seat Laughing

Sorry, couldn't resist... it's just the right height for me but I am 6'5".....

You could get a trimmers to make up an extension to it, a bit like a padded cushion..... Pete

Or you could hang your arm out of the open window in that manner that people do to look casual and cool but we all know is slightly uncomfortable and makes your arm go numb Thumbs Up

Know what you are saying. I use a fleece or similar balled up to rest right elbow on when on a long trip. Mine was a blue one! Smile

Im with Pete, perfect height for me (but I'm 6"3') so might be a height thing? Why not raise the height of the seat?

I'm 6ft 4" and find the door rest quite good for my right arm.

I hate the slackness of driving with my elbow on the top of the door, so never drive that way (although I used to many years ago when I was driving company cars).

The door arm rest is around the same height as the cubby or seat arm rest for your left arm, so I'm happy with that. Admittedly, it means no '10-2' hand positions, but is more relaxing and comfortable for me with my shoulders lower and my posture level.

If I need a firmer grip on the 'wheel, I raise my hands and arms accordingly for more grip and better control.

Seat height is really important in this regard. I still hark back to my old '02 and those wonderfully supportive Lux seats the Vogue models enjoyed. Si. <This is my name.

I eat rat poison.

A man ain't truly been insulted until he stands buck naked in front of a woman and she didn't even notice. Or care.

Must be a height thing. I'm 6ft 5 and find resting my arm easy on door.
Try sitting on a pillow Very Happy
