just below the steering column , I pressed it a few times and my dash did some strange things and then I had a flat battery ( that might just be a coincidence )

Not got one of those (under side of the column) unless you mean the transit switch just above the pedals?

mmmm , about as helpful as your " try the search " line you fed me last time. You know stan, considering you are a moderator for this site you don't seem to have a very welcoming or helpful attitude to new comers . You have site sponsers on here paying hard cash for the running of the site and its growth of membership. This place is a business and if you spoke to people like that in person across a counter .... well ive made my point. |

I didn't know it was called a transit switch when I first asked , so no I didn't search TBH I now always use the search facility before I ask, sometimes its useful sometimes its not , depends on your search words I guess |

Stan I think you're out of order, I mean "Transit Switch" it could mean loads of things like for example a switch you press when you have your RR in Transit .... or ...... oddly I can't think of anything else at the moment (well apart from a switch you just operate loads of times when you don't know what it is of course). So you're not really being helpful, its all just so confusing Geoff |
