Worst nightmare (for me anyway)

So I've had my new FFRR for a week now and unfortunately managed to sing my rear wheel on a Kirb this morning !

I'm distraught !

Do you think this can be repaired by a mobile alloy wheel repairer ?

Are they copies or JLR? As they have NON standard JLR tyres fitted I'm guessing copies?

Oh! Well they were expensive to me - don't know what other copies retail as.

Anyway - my point is would they be repairable? Or do I need to buy a replacement ? CURRENT : FFRR 2012 4.4 TDV8

Anything is repairable, just depends how much it costs, don't bother with the quick fix job, it won't last, find a wheel refurbishers and take it there... Pete

If they are a polished or diamond cut finish they are expensive to repair and need to be completed by a specialist not your everyday wheel repairer. I would estimate £75-£100 to polish. Its a horrible feeling and I feel for you. Big Cry

Thanks d3rm0 - I'm very sensitive about my wheels and have never dinged a wheel before.

If it were me, that becomes the spare and buy a new one.

Unless you bought 5 in the first place - either way, that's your new spare.
