New Zealand 2010 Range Rover Autobiography 5.0 SC V8 Galway Green

I'd go tablet and headrest mount any time. Never used the RSE in the 4.2 hence didn't look for it in the 5.0 either. MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!

Thank you WD...

Ryan, remember that RSE became an option after 09my “ish” so unlike the earlier MY’s where it was a standard fit on VSE spec, later models rarely have it! Rolling Eyes

I like the way Craig did the tablet installation and I'm sure he can do it again for you Ryan Smile Smile Smile. Just don't forget to take the tablets out so the "slippery fingers guild" won't bash in your window to "relieve you" of the units............... MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!

England

10 Years ago we had the LR roof mounted system in a D2 Metropolis and it was never off - spent 3 days driving down to Tuscany without a peep from the Cherubs in the back - The Metropolis was worth every penny just for that Laughing

It did have a tendency to goose the battery if we used it parked though Embarassed

When we sold that I worried what to do and bought a horrible portable system that hung on the back of the seats - hated it and also worried in the event of a crash it would break loose and cause some serious injuries flying around in the vehicle Sad

As the kids got older they switched to ipod/phones and it ended up in a cupboard - now even SWMBO plays angry birds on her iPad while I drive Rolling Eyes

If I was doing it all again I would give them tablets/iPads and keep them quiet when we arrived not just on the trip Bow down Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW

Still hoping for a S2 one day!

Are we there yet? ......

Yeah get with the programme grandad!
Agree, iPads/ tablets are now personal items. All they want now is a decent charge point each, and they have earbuds too, so, they are as silent as mice, sort of. Peace at last, and no Frozen singing,

Oh the joys of modern life. All I could do was look out a pretend window, as we had a Thames van! Later a viva, that vibrated so much you could not rest your head on anything without a sick bowl in your hand.
And what with the new models and their front passenger watching a film and you with the nav.

Bring back 'I spy' and 'yellow-car-punch'

Purchased the Land Rover headrest mount for the iPad from an online vendor (lrparts.net) and it's a fantastic secure fit. Daughter has wireless bluetooth headphones linked to her iPad and she sits there in complete comfort engrossed with picture quality surpassing any fully integrated system while we oldies listen to the radio - bliss.
