[Wanted] 2002 TD6 HDC Switch 'Knob'

Hi Folks,

I'm basically here hoping that someone elses misfortune may save me some expense, and that I can offset some of theirs.

When I bought my FFRR it was with the black plastic 'knob' on the HDC switch missing. this is not the usual failure mode whereby the whole switch gets snapped off, there are two plastic progs still there and the switch still works. I failed to realise at the time that I would not simply be able to buy a new knob, or even a new switch and would instead have to replace the whole switch panel and both HDC and Low Range switches.

I'm hoping someone here may have had the switch break off, and would still have the knob, and would be willing to sell it to me to offset some of their cost in having to replace the entire panel.

I know its a long shot, you never know....

Take it you don't want a second hand panel?

I was hoping to avoid the expense of a whole panel. Also mine is in pretty good shape with no chips or dings on the finish.

Plus if it helps someone who has to change the panel offset the cost somewhat then that has to be a win for both of us.

That said, it also depends how much the whole panel is being offered for.

Of course is someone has one with a busted Low Ration, but an in tact HDC then that again could be a cheaper option for me.

Mine was replaced by dealer due to cosmetic damage while car was with them. I've kept it just in case something happened to the fitted one because the damage is so slight. Photos attached. You can have it for £50 plus postage if it will help you out.
