Squeakin' an Squealin'

Evening all,

2011 3.6tdv8 AB. 10-15 mins into a run, squeak/squeal from the brakes. Touch brake pedal and it goes off, release brake pedal, comes back. speed up, squeak gets faster..... Shocked

Bloody annoying. and embarrassing. Embarassed

I know its listed on here somewhere, but just want to be sure before the weekend.

Thanks all, in advance. Bow down

Sometimes you get the same symptoms from grit stuck betweem the splash shields and the disc. Giving the splash shields a bash with a screw driver handle and reversing the car for a few yards can often cure it. Nothing lost if it doesn't work.

Need to take the calipers carriers off and clean them out with a file to let the pads slide in the retaining clips.

Copper grease on the back of the pads, and away you go! There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
