It will take more than a few days... not like the L322, pristine and ready... Thumbs Up

Cleaned the front brakes and applied ceramic paste to the 6 pot brake pad contact points this week. Those big front brakes do generate some brake dust!

The car is hardly being used at all now due to the 'other one' ... although I know someone who would gladly keep this one in preference to the imposter! Neutral

It's almost a shame you've no grounds to reject the new one and keep with the L322.

Sounds like you've a growing dilemma there. Is there no '30 day satisfaction guarantee' or some-such clause you could invoke? Si. <This is my name.

Might have earned the imposter a reprieve! Although when tomorrow comes, who knows! Laughing

Interim update, Mrs pld still prefers the way the L322 drives but can't yet articulate why other than:

A. It soaks up road imperfections better;

B. Preference to the L322 steering weight as opposed to the more eager steering wheel response of the L405; and

C. Not comfortable with the keyless entry/ prefers to be able to lock the car and pull the door handle to be reassured that it is locked as opposed to, lock it with fob, pull driver's door handle and the door opens again (the folding mirrors in the fold position give away whether or not it is locked though).

D. Remains unconvinced that the cost difference is worth it.

Soaking up imperfections better is possibly to do with the L405 22" wheels as opposed to the L322 20" alloys).

No plan's to replace the 22" on the imposter Stan as they look nice on the car and [opinions vary] I've no issue with the ride.

The L322 is on as good as new Verde's, the profile is 255/55/20. The all round performance is excellent, as well as being quiet and offering a smooth ride Thumbs Up
