is charging 13.6 at 2K RPM enough?

The battery light has come on and wont stop telling me something is wrong.
Today they messured 14 at starting up the engine and a fall back to 13.6 with airco, and everything switched on at 2000 RPM
Battery is tested and is OK.
So should I replace the alternator or is it something else.

any suggestions?
thanks in advance.
Regards
Robert

I would suspect that's a wee bit low. With my IIDTool plugged in, mine reads over 14v Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue

Mine dropped to 13.8v for about a week before that dreaded smell of fubared alternator....

Having said that I've got three meters and they all read something different so I don't think there is much accuracy with them..... Pete

Just to be even more encouraging I'm afraid you need a new alternator before it takes the battery with it. Thumbs Up Smile
Very common problem with 2007 FF's for some reason.
