Brembo Caliper Dust Seals - Technique?

After a fit of guilt yesterday I decided to re-furb my Brembo front caiipers. I had previously ordered a service kit from BrakeParts.co.uk off the bay and a bigs hats off to them for service - simply brilliant and above all expectations Thumbs Up Thumbs Up
Anyway, the kit included seals, dust seals, pistons and assembly paste / lubricant. All went well - longest job was the cleaning Big Cry
So, now it's all done my question is for those that have refurb'd theirs - what method did you use to seat the dust seals?
These aren't like conventional dust seals and have to be pressed into the groove. I used a good sized C clamp and gently went around each one until I was satisfied they were all seated. This meant I couldn't paint the calipers until the the pistons / seals were in place - maybe not a bad thing but I wondered if there's a better home-workshop method.
