Scotland 2006 Range Rover Supercharged 4.2 SC V8 Mariana Black
Sat Nav States 'Navigation Not Fitted'

As in the title; Sat Nav States 'Navigation Not Fitted', I have disconnected the unit YIB500070 and checked for a feed to make sure it is getting power, of the 3 plugs that go into the rear the multiplug gives on positive feed to the unit (which i can only assume is correct), at this stage I am unsure if the unit is faulty or if the issue lies elsewhere i.e
Is there meant to be another live feed into the unit other than the one mentioned above?
Is there an issue with the unit not being properly connected to the bak of the screen, if so how and what do i strip to gain access?
Or is it just a case of the unit being faulty and needs repaired/replaced? If so where is best to go for either of these options?
Thanks in advance

Hi Pete,

Thanks For the Welcome, I actually joined a couple of years ago but have never posted until now.

I used to own a Jeep Cherokee some 20 years ago now and the handle has kind of stuck as i have used it on various other sites.

I have update my avatar with a picture of my current RR's, but the vehicle I am referring to in the post is my RRS Supercharged.

Thanks David Range Rover P38 4.0 HSE

Thanks for the welcome.

The nav unit is under the passenger seat, I have removed it and that is as far as I have got.

Are you saying that there should be more in the left rear quarter behind the panelling?

Hi David

Welcome.

Have you looked on the Range Rover Sport forum ?

http://www.rrsport.co.uk/forum/

You might get a more accurate answer over there.

The reference to the electronics in the left hand boot compartment is for the full fat Range Rover.

Not sure if the parts are shared with the L322 / L405 ?

Does the Discovery have the same nav unit fitted ?

Hi and thanks for the welcome,

The Discovery shares the same unit as the RRS.

TBH I have posted some questions on the RRSport forum already and have no response so far, hence I thought i would try on here to see if I fared any better.
