I am currently looking for a 4.4 tdv8 and what is frustrating me is trying to identify what additional option they were specked with by first supplied.
If you looking at Land Rover dealers its easy they can look on the system and provide a print out. If your looking out with the Land Rover net work is there a trick I am missing short of having a friendly LR dealer look them up for me?

Obtaining the build sheet will tell you what the car has fitted, I suppose you could then compare this to a MY brochure to see the differences. Also the MY brochure would also potentially have a list of options?

search for 'build sheet' to learn how to get ne (i can't remember) once you have identified a car you like. Someone here will also be able to offer an options list. I have MY10 and 11 details somewhere i think.  405 AB exec seats Baltic and Cirrus

This has always frustrated me with buying used cars from dealers. All you want is a list of the extras, but they often include obviously standard items like "electric windows", so it quickly becomes a list of features and you really have to look closely to work out what was paid for. 2024 Range Rover P550e AB

If you get a build sheet from JLR it will just list everything the car left the factory with. Whether it was a standard or optional feature for that model or not. It's best to get yourself a second hand brochure from eBay for the year of car you're looking at.

the build sheet will list if an option or standard feature was fitted or not, if not it will still list the item but will say 'less' next to it.. ... - .- -.

But it doesn't distinguish if that feature was an optional extra or standard for that model.

Mine lists for example, Auxiliary heating (which was an option on my Petrol model) along with Glass Sunroof and Premium sound which were both standard on my Vogue. But it's just a list and unless you know what a 2004 vogue came with as standard, you'd have no idea what was ordered as an option and what came as standard.

It doesn't have any mention of features that weren't fitted - 19" wheels for example, aren't listed at all, but clearly it didn't have them as it had 20's.
