I have heard of "other" cars being chipped, then going to the dealer, who updates the ECU and it reverts to standard...

Craig had a good remap on it before, will know more tomorrow once its been on the diagnostic and tested, runs ok but gives a puff of black smoke so hoping not more serious than maybe split hose or a sensor if was turbo surely would run out of balance and not be smooth and quiet? _____________________________________________________

Have a look at the hoses, but I would think that if it was losing enough boost to affect the performance then it would cause the car to go into limp home mode.
