Is Total Quartz 5w40 fully synth any good for TD6?

As above, is Total Quartz 5w40 fully synthetic oil any good for the TD6?

If not, any recommendations please?

Land-Rover recommend 0w40, but 5w40 should be fine providing you don't intend to operate it in Russian winters or something, shouldn't be an issue with in the UK. Total is quality oil, not some Lidl own brand recycled rubbish.

Unless you can get it for pennies, then you may just as well get the correct 0w40 longlife oil.

It's in the wiki on here 5w 40 comma fully synthetic. Quite adequate for the m57 td6.
