Thanks Ian appreciate all feedback vans are bloody expensive

Sadly our Swift (2 years old) goes back to the factory in January for a 6 week holiday, whilst they replace the water damaged wood etc in the front, so are used to poor build quality, newer vans seem to be worse than the older vans we have had before Whistle

Not sure there is a good manufacturer now sadly, and I do not like the foreign manufacturers vans so rather stuffed as love going away in the van Paul
L405 now sold

For sure Ian ! We looked at the new Buccaneers but all reports on the new vans are less than positive !!

MY First van was a lunar bought new in 2011 I had a fair bit of trouble with damp
at rear of van kids bunks sheets were always damp after a year and lots of different fixes traded in for a bailey alu-tec
constructed van all in all I'm happy with this van its been night and day to our luner
But that said I think its a lottery if you get a good van or a bad van

^ Exactly, a lottery. Probably the most variable thing in caravans is build quality. We had a good Swift, a lousy Elddis, a questionable Coachman and now a very good Coachman.

A Buccaneer is only a posh Elddis but with their new SoLID construction the things do seem a lot better. Plus they are one of the few manufacturers to use the British BPW chassis, which I have to say tows better than the Al-Ko. I must admit, I do like the new Buccaneer having inspected one at the show. Very well kitted out.

The extra width makes quite a difference and the self levelling is great.

Nice looking outfits

IanV8 check the wires going into the top struts at the front, this is one of the causes of the error you are getting. Thumbs Up There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

It's a 2015 Buccaneer Cruiser, loads of problems but nearly all fixed now.

See dynamic fault thread for update on car.

How's the buccaneer doing?

Was looking at the elddis avante 866, but have just noticed that buccaneer do the Galera this year which is a posh version of the 866! Looks very nice, however I have to convince the Swmbo that we need a new van!! There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
