I initially thought that carrying around 40kgs of towbar armature and kit for the next 5 years was a bit of a waste, if I wasn't going to use it and I could just keep it anyway to help sell the car when the time came. I have now removed the two parts that I can unbolt which actually weigh around 10kgs on their own.
