2017 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Loire Blue

Chirp or tweet.

Check this out...............

She is parked on the drive and all locked up..........

Every 8 hours or so i hear a chirp or tweet from her.....

Any ideas?

My first thought might be the alarm sounder.

No faults stored.

battery getting low or tired i expect. The sounder will have it's only built in back up battery too.

It has still made the noise with the battery at full charge.

Does anyone know where the alarm module siren is?

Been looking but can't find it!!

it's probably in one of the front wheel arches under the battery or scuttle panel. Set the alarm off and have a listen to where it's loudest.

Hi Guys,

In a random coincidence mine (2010MY 3. has just started doing exactly this as well!

Wife is convinced of course that the whole thing is going suddenly refuse to unlock when I'm away travelling - so any further ideas?!

mines doing it normally about 3h after locking it, still can't find a reason battery seems fine on the checks i've done

nothing changed but one day it just started doing it, i can only think it must be a warning for something just not sure what! 2009(10MY) 3.6 TDV8 Vogue

Mine did it when locked and it was the bonnet switch thought it was going to be the back up battery on the sounder running out - could be either
