Seat belt clasp rubbing against leather?

My L405 has been pretty faultless since I got it about 6 weeks ago, but there is one thing that is a bit annoying. The driver's seat belt clasp rubs against the leather seat, and when the road is even slightly bumpy, it squeaks a lot.

Has anyone else noticed this? The passenger one is fine and I can't see any difference between them. I've noticed in previous cars that there is usually some velvet on the clasp that stops this from happening, but not on the Range Rover. 2024 Range Rover P550e AB

Yes, I've already read about it but can't remember where. Try a search with multiple keywords, i. e. Belt Rubbing Seat.

Sounds uncomfortable.

Does it feel over-tight when fastened or conversely, not tooooo much tension?

What about the height adjustment?

Otherwise try that special cream the cyclists use for too much chaffing of the nethers.

Hope it's not something going around all L405's. Shocked

Rolling with laughter

My 322 (2012) has the velvet type material on the seat belts so your dealer ought to be able to supply/fit this. Only Range Rovers since 1988

Had this on my L322, bought a roll of self adhesive hook & loop from Ebay for about a quid and stuck a strip of the loop side onto the seatbelt receiver where it rubs on the seat piping, now its totally silent.
