Td6 head unit and speakers

Good morning am looking for help I got in my car to go to work this morning and the stereo didn't sound normal so I went to settings and fade full rear full front full left full right and found out that non of the front right speakers are working is there any thing to check and what's the best way to go about it cheers Steve

HI Stevo,

It may be a long shot , but try a battery disconnct (leads together) My radio played up a couple of months agao - (it wouldn't tun off)been ok since the disconnect.

I would look for bad connections on the two speaker plugs on the top of the DSP.
Try wiggling the plugs and see what happens.

Fortunately not, the DSP is the large black box standing vertically at the rear of the rear side compartment in the luggage space.
I had similar to you and it was a bad connection on the rear left plug (facing the box) on the top of the DSP.

Thanks you will have to excuse my stupidity is the dsp behind the cover near the reverse sensor control box cheers

You could also remove and refit the big black plug from the BM54. It feeds the dsp. Left hand side of the boot, slightly further forwards and a bit lower than the dsp. Not the one with the blue and white connectors, that's the TV module.....

Un plug and re connect the box you said turn off ignition and back on hey presto all working cheers again
