We're handing our car back to BMW tomorrow morning (the balloon payment on the PCP is quite a lot more than the car is worth) then heading straight off to see Jeremy at Lookers.

He's hoping to have a petrol and oil powered FFRR for us to look at.

Spoke to Jez today - we talked about an SC he has in mind for you Andy D - very nice spec and of good provenance - sounds like a great car for a good deal - especially with the distinct lack of quality pre-owned vehicles that are not available at the moment...

There will be 30 or so Santorini and Stornaway Vogues and Vogue SE's some with Jet/Charcoal interiors and some with Ivory, some with factory tints , some without, all with loads of desirable extras on them. All with the new motor, coming onto dealer forecourts shortly and they were the cars we used yesterday. When we got into them the vast majority had less than 50 miles on the clock and after today the whole lot are going to be shipped south to Luton for the same event next week down there. Yes - but I think Andy D is after a Range Rover which is upto a couple of years old, not ex demo age.

After speaking to the sales team from Lookers today - its sounds as though the new RR4.4TDV8 is going to be introduced to the market quite slowly in terms of quantities and therefore any large influx of decent part exchanges being available is slightly exagerated - there really is a distinct shortage of quality used 18/24 month vehicles at the moment by all accounts.

Edit - Sorry Tim, just re-read your post, did you mention the RR demo's because I had mentioned about discounts on a new 4.4TDV8?!?!? - It was my attempt at sarcasm, unless Jez is offering a £30k discount, there won't be any chance of a newer RR sitting on my driveway for quite some months yet

Delamo, unless I keep donating to Camelot I won't be getting an ex demo 4.4TDv8 before L322 is replaced............. but if Camelot decides it's my turn to win then I'll be looking for one within a few days of the pay-out!

You're right Delamo, it's got to be a few years old. I'd love something newer but I'd need Camelot's help too.
