First you have the headers, coming of the engine top, then 2x cat. After the cats are 2 resonators. Delete this for lovely (not overdone) sounde

As above Thumbs Up

If you have a photo of the underside will happily point it our for you if in doubt.

Gives a nice rumble and a few pops and crackles on the overrun.

As mentioned, very discrete and not over the top (which in my opinion is as it should be on the Range Rover).

So Stryke, ever had any issues with MOTs etc since?
Did you do it yourself or find a friendly welder/exhaust specialist?
The wife actually liked the added noise so I've got to strike whilst the goings good Wink Life is what happens while youre making other plans.

No MOT issues, cats still in place.

Local exhaust shop, cut out the existing and welded replacements. About an hours labour and cost about £100 from memory.

It's done...£120 all in, and while I waited - great job.
Best mod ever, no regrets. The noise is just what I was looking for...subtle with a bit more 'rumble', and not much noticeable difference at motorway speeds. Driving in urban areas certainly puts a smile on your face when you ease on the gas and hear that fantastic V8 burble. Thumbs Up Life is what happens while youre making other plans.

No vids yet I'm afraid, but if you're local (I'm in Tunbridge Wells), you're welcome to come and see/hear it.
Called the guys at The Hastings Classic and Custom Exhaust Centre http://www.classiccustomexhausts.co.uk/ yesterday morning. They wanted to see it first, but when I got there they weren't busy and did it there and then. Only 40 mins down the road as well. When they cut them out, they left a bit extra and gave me the resonators so they could be re-attached at a later date - cant see that happening though. Even SWMBO likes it Thumbs Up Life is what happens while youre making other plans.
