Which Genuine Warranty

Morning all
Our 2010 3.6tdv6 is just coming out of it's 2 year approved used warranty and we have been sent a document by Land Rover to take out one of their extended warranties, so which one if any ?

Option one Extended Warranty with assistance £160.50 per month
Option two Select Extended with assistance £100.50 per month

What is the difference between the two?

We need to decide by 15th Oct i.e. tomorrow so any thoughts please.....

....or neither Thumbs Up

£1,926 gets you a long way towards any repairs you might need over the next 12 months.

In any event, I keep being told to "watch out" for the "wear and tear" clauses in warranties, otherwise you could find that claims you think are justified are in-fact attributed to "wear and tear".

Mine was due on 10th Oct and I didn't renew Wink

You could try Warranty Wise - it would be interesting to see what their price would be!

Anyone had experience of making claim with them?

^ I'm sure Quentin would make sure everything was sorted to the highest standard and pay out without even questioning the cost Whistle

I had the Extended Warranty, but without assistance as my bank gives me breakdown cover.

When the alternator failed its replacement was fully covered without any argument. But I did have to pay for a new battery as they are excluded and when the alternator gives up it tend to destroy the battery.

I was paying £1100 a year so it probably paid for itself.
