I have the same issue in my 2009, i have the heated and cooling seats. The cooling works but the heating doesnt. This is on the drivers side. Land rover say I need a new heater blower, £250, and 2 hours labour. If yours is the same as mine, if you look under the seat you should see a circular filter type thing, that is part of the mechanism. I managed to buy a part on ebay from the USA for around £120, but.... I ordered the wrong side! I got the passenger side part! Haha. So thats going back on ebay.

There are four stand alone units in your car sir... Two in each seat (one in the rear and one in the base)

The back rest one is access’d by removing the rear (map book pocket) cover and it can be found inside, the lower one is found under the seat, easy enough to remove the 4 bolts & seatbelt bolt! Put the seat on a bench for better access... Hope that helps Thumbs Up

really thanks for that but i can find the heater motors no issue but try as i might cannot find the module that controls them !! with my jag XJL module controls two seats on each unit back of the seat seat heater and base seat heater on both sides as the one from land rover picture enclosed (in gallery) looks the same i assumed that one unit would run two seats ie passenger and driver in this case as it has one mains in for what of a better word and then one out to each seat the plot thickens eh unless of course land rover have sold me a part i did not need as i asked for the seat module for heated and cool seats on a rr s/c 2007 !! the dealer maintains its the right part having been back 3 times now but the service department say they dont know where the uni is lcoated and try as i may i cannot find out strange

Is it really that easy to remove a seat? Is there a guide somewhere? I wouldnt know where to start. I am not afraid of giving it a go, but would like some idea what I am doing.

Hi, apologies for hijacking this thread but I am trying to resolve the same problems, please can someone explain how to remove the map pocket and seat back as I am struggling to see how and cannot find a guide anywhere.

Many thanks in anticipation,
