At a guess there will be an amplifier in the system that I would have thought would have a suppressor in it, maybe that has broken or come unplugged?? Pete

I had radio interference whilst using the rear screen heater for the first time a couple of days ago. Not had time to look into it but you are not alone. Thumbs Up

could be a bad earth or a break in the heater lines causing the interference...you can check this by switching on the rear window heater and passing the ariel of a portable radio across the window and see if there are any 'hot spots'... ... - .- -.

The rear window has been out to have the tailgate done, I think that will be my first port of call, body shop men do not make great auto electricians - although they did do a good job spraying the tailgate and the wing mirror Very Happy Geoff

I had this after the dog scratched the rear window elements. I would think a damaged element is the most likely explanation for your problem.

I managed to persuade my insurance company that as they covered damage to glass, I could claim for a new window and they reluctantly agreed.
