22" wheels to 19"

I've bought some 19's off a forum member to replace my 22"'s (which will be up for sale soon) they are away having a full refurb at the moment, the tyres are ok for now but will soon need replacing.
So two questions...... the tyre size at the moment is 255 X 55 X 19 is this correct and does the speedo read true ?, and secondly are there any settings that need changing when changing wheel size?

Depends what model year each wheel was designed for - you might need new nuts....

They all have the same thread, but there are 2 different diameters - they need to be the right ones for the wheels Thumbs Up

I'm still trying to find a set of 18's to replace the 20's on mine as I want a better (read cheaper!) choice of 50/50 tyres - it's not that it's hard to find them (ebay has plenty) but I'm in Northern Ireland and getting rims sent over here is rather expensive Confused Did you find much of a difference in ride comfort?
