Lots of info so I've split it into separate posts to make them a bit more readable...

There are two types of warranty available.

The Extended Warranty covers the majority of mechanical and electrical components originally covered by the manufacturer warranty. Components are covered for mechanical or electrical breakdown, which is the failure of a component, resulting in the sudden stoppage of its function, for a reason other than wear and tear, normal deterioration or negligence.

Consequential damage is also included, this protects against the failure of a non-covered mechanical or electrical component as a consequence of failed mechanical or electrical component covered by the warranty.

It is available for cars which are under 10 years old and have covered less than 100,000 miles at the time of warranty purchase.

The Select Extended Warranty provides cover for most major repairs for mechanical or electrical failure on specific named components.

It is available for cars which have covered less than 100,000 miles at the time of warranty purchase.
