2003 Rear Light Lens

The rear lights on the 2003 have a thin clear plastic lens, are these available separately?

Many Thanks My Motto: If you are going to have one, have a BIG one!

Shame, its an awful lot of light to chuck away for the sake of a cracked outer lens My Motto: If you are going to have one, have a BIG one!

But to be fair I don't think I've seen a modern car where you could buy just a lens for the rear light, you're lucky if you can get them for a headlamp.

You might be able to get a sign maker to make you one if they use polycarbonate and have a vending machine or if your feeling brave

I think that you'll find that the clear lens is a little bit more than just a bend, it will need vacuum forming to get the correct shape. Basically not impossible, but by the time you've got all the kit and got the right shape it will be a whole lot cheaper to buy some replacements Sad

On the up side, cos the LR units are soooo stupidly priced, you can normally pick up a new pair of NAS rears, which have flooded the market, and sell your good lamp for for over £100. That takes the sting out of the upgrade, I got £150 for my good rear and £70 for the cracked one as it was only a star crack on the side Shocked Think my upgrade cost £130, for clear supercharged lamps Thumbs Up Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer...
