Odd diesel problem

Have notice a couple of times a very lumpy tickover on my TD6. This happens directly after a full throttle acceleration then stopping shortly after, ie overtaking someone only to get a red light shortly after. The car generally starts and runs like clockwork but this scenario causes the lumpy tickover for 4 or 5 mins or until restarting the engine. I have not got a clue what could cause this, my only thought are fuel pump is on the way out but the acceleration is not effected and exhaust output appears as clean as a diesel can be. Any ideas?? 2007 TDV8 VSE

I notice that you have a performance chip in it. I'm wondering if the fuel map that is in there is maybe over or underfuelling a bit after a quick accelleration. Did this start from day one or is it new ?? MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!

This has just started, its been fine for the last 8 months. The chip is just a plug in box, not a remap 2007 TDV8 VSE
