What would you like in the face lift

Given the fact that the forum has started to talk about the face-lift and the fact that LR could do with the feedback what would you like to see in the next incarnation.

To start the ball rolling; I prefer heated seats on a separate button, rather than going through the slow screen and the option to brighten further some of the interior lighting such as the main dash display.

Not really facelift as such but -

Bring back having each key associated with a seat memory - I still can't get mine to do it & have been told multiple times that it's not a feature on the L405 - despite some people saying they have it Embarassed

Show custom POI's on the screen between the dials - for me they are speed cameras & I'd like them to pop up Thumbs Up Also support for custom audio alerts for POI's Thumbs Up

Display the artist & track name - don't just tell me that it's an iPod

The heated seats are now on the temperature control button.

I would like to be able to select low box without having to come to a complete standstill.

I think giving the forward and reverse cameras a continued recording function would be a big step in the right direction, also a change in the jack supplied. Agueroooooooooo. 93-20
I swear you will never see anything like this ever again....watch it..drink it in.

I would like them to focus on quality control ahead of a facelift so that I don't have to visit the dealers several times between services to fix various known faults. Rolling Eyes
Accepting that this is probably too much to hope for with LR I would like in addition:

A button to speed up the steering rack and stiffen the suspension should I want to drive faster on occasions but without any compromise to the standard settings for the rest of the time.

The 550hp engine in a normal AB version.

Buttons or a lever instead of the rotary gear shift.

LED adaptable headlights

Adapt the radar cruise so that it provides emergency braking.

Infotainment that is not 10 years behind the market

Soft close bonnet

A finish on the brake calipers that is worthy of a car worth £100k+.

I've read a number of complaints about the media/gps screen. Why not just have an option for it to mirror your phone/tablet, etc. Then you can access your own music and nav your own way and it's not outdated when you get a new phone/tablet?

Homologated off road tyres like Goodyear Duratrac (homologated for 322).

Option to have rear seats non-electric folding and so able to tumble as well as fold.

Mirrors that fold in further and do not cause spill effect that pulls water on to the glass.

Better security against theft - perhaps something radical like a physical key to unlock the doors? Only Range Rovers since 1988

I'm pretty sure the ACC provides emergency braking already, combined with active seat belts.

Adaptive LED headlights are a given. They're already on Evoque.

It doesn't have the functionality to stop you driving into the back of another car in traffic like lots of other cars do these days (in normal driving without the ACC on)

The problem isn't related to them being electric. Mine aren't and still don't tumble forward. It's a design 'feature'.

Edited as I missed the bit about ACC being off....

Even with ACC on mine will slow me to a complete standstill in a queue of traffic - but it can be a little inconsistent - it seems to need to 'recognise' a moving car in front, then will slow with it. If I come up behind something stationary, I think it would let me plough straight into the back of it - at least I lost my bottle first & hit the brakes Shocked

I think any facelift should include a price reduction for all models to £30k. Thumbs Up

I'd like to see -
The more powerful 3.0 engine from the RRS. (existing one is good, but more is always better).
Apple Carplay (why not)
Remote engine on. (to avoid having to option the FBH)
Option of a roller-style parcel shelf (I carry a large dog, so have to permanently remove it).
Better headlights (quite dark by me, and am a little disappointed with the full beam).
Back seats that roll forward.
Tesla X style panoramic roof
Bigger fuel tank.
Way to permanently disable stop start.
More customisable dash.
A 'proper' gear knob, or Aston style buttons.
Full beam to turn the front fog lights on.
