2011 Dual View Screen with infrared headphones ?

Our 2011 with Dual View Screen (inc Digital TV) came with infrared headphones in the glove box. However it seems to me that we are missing the infrared transmitter in the roof. We don't have the DVD player nor rear screens.

The headphones power on (red led flashes irregularly) and there is a tone changing channel but can't get any sound.

Can anyone advise ?

I found that in the manual too, as soon as you select 'Mode' and selecting 'Personal Audio' it changes the original selection, turning off the TV. Pressing 'Audio Video' again does nothing, I guess as its now on Personal Audio with no video.

No audio switch or option that I can find.

Mine's a 2011 with dual view and also the RSE. Those headphones are definitely not for the front.

The dual view screen is exactly that, dual view. One entertainment source and any of the driver aids (Nav etc). Just played with the settings and I can't get the DVD to play for the passenger whilst the driver has the radio or CD. The DVD plays through the audio system and I can't get it to play through the headphones unless the RSE is playing.

Thanks, sounds like these headphones should not have been included with my car.

I guess you've got an infrared transmitter in the centre roof console. Current : Range Rover 5.0 SC 2011 Orkney Grey
