Its transformed the ride. Noticeable how much it takes the edge off bumps in the road, yet doesn't seem to have compromised handling. Also much quieter. Bumbling along at 30 is near silent. ITs brill.

It's one of the reasons I like having the Defender to go shooting in, big chunky tyres and 16" alloys.

Yes. Kumho kc15. Had them before and was very pleased with them so went went for them again. 98 quid a corner from tyre leader. Week 27 of 2015 manufacturing date. V8 or else ... |

Well, it certainly looks good ... the tyres fill the arches better, too, being slightly larger than stock. any idea if one of those fits in the spare wheel well??? Regards,

I agree, winters give a much better ride. A taxi driver mate of mine said that the depot he worked at kept winters on in the summer until they wore out then got another set.

I have the same wheels on my Sport. Much better tyre choice for off-road and, like you say, they improve the ride quite a bit too.

Do you have any pics of the mods you had to make? I presume your caiipers are the same as my 2010 TDv8 and i would ike these wheels. And are you still running then and did you have any issues? |
