The headlights will be of concern to some here as will the "illegal" chipping. 2018 Mini Countryman Cooper S E All4 PHEV in Melting Silver - it’s whisper quiet in EV and polluter modes

Of the two points there of concern I thought HID bulbs in parabolic reflectors was already a fail and as for chipping don't they mean plug in boxes because an MOT test centre can't read or won't read all of a cars possible control modules and how would it recognize software that was different from one similar engine to the next ? 2008 MY Supercharged

Personally i agree with after market HID kits being a fail as now its getting darker i see alot of saxo's etc etc with lights way too bright!

As for checking via the OBD port for a map thats not possible if its a decent map thats locked ie Revo etc.

MOT stations wont have the correct stuff to check this. TDV8 HST Sport **Current**

If they're OE and in parabolic reflectors, they're still legal, I had an Accord Type R with OE HID's as they had auto levelling, power wash etc. 2006 Mercedes CLS
