Front lighting control module error

On a trip with the L322 today the warning symbol for the Adaptive front light system started to blink yellow on the dash.
I stopped and restarted the car, and the adaptive lights didn't do the "AFS swivel initialization" as they normally do when starting.
I connected the IID BT tool, and the following fault message showed up: "U0182-87 (2F) Lost communication with front lighting control module - Bus signal/message failure - missing a message". I cleared all faults, but the AFS do still not work (no initialization on start up, and yellow warning lamp always blinking..). I've cleared all faults several times. I've also installed the latest IID tool firmware.

The voltage shows 14.2 V on startup, and 13.5 V after a while. The battery is 6 months old, the alternator is 8 months old. I fixed the battery drainage for a few months ago, now there is just a 0.08A drainage 20-30 minutes after shutdown.

Can the AFS just stop working during a drive like that? Both xenon lights works fine. Strange!

Thanks Stan, I'll try a bettery reset tonight.
I found this post in another forum where "MP" indicated that a faulty AFS module could cause a lot of side effects. So - it might be that as well. First try - battery reset!

It worked - battery reset, and the AFS up and running again. No warning light in the dash Thumbs Up !
