Just on the handbrake, it does release automatically if you depress the throttle, but there is a bit of a delay and a bump so I prefer to release it manually.

The rotary dial takes some getting used to and on my first encounter with a demonstrator I almost got out of the car at a farm gate with it still in drive, as I was used to judging by where the lever was. Only Range Rovers since 1988

I always release it manually too (in the hope of it being less likely to break).

The standard kit is plenty loud enough and decent quality. The 1200w system is better, but tbh most of the time i doubt you would notice the difference Thumbs Up

Knowing these as you do, you will have a pretty good idea if it's a good un as soon as you see it! There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Is there anywhere I can download an owners manual from ?

I've found a sales brochure, which is quite good, but does not have all the spec in.....

It also has a removable tow ball, which is in it, so I assume it's stuck......

It was demo and 1 lady owner......

Looks great - its easy enough to spray both the bar and the foglight surrounds yourself, just then the cost of a rattle can or two. It is a bit of a pain getting the cover off the bar to spray it, I did it although it tested my patience a bit but worth the effort. I used Alloy 5 Wheel Silver (Simoniz I think) and had no problems also masking the foglight surrounds is a bit tricky I actually used elastic bands to get the curve done neatly. Geoff

I bought my last L322 & my current L405 from photos

As Alan said - refundable deposit - so if you turn up and it's not as described you can walk away - otherwise, transfer the balance (or sign finance) and drive away.

Looks fantastic.

'one lady owner' - not the best selling point!!!! Whistle

The hand brake should also auto engage when you turn off. The dial does not auto park (or at least on my 2010 4.4 it doesn't - the chimes ask you to do it after engine turn off). I think the dial is actually quite cool and adds to the driving experience.

The sound system is fantastic. Make sure the service history is water tight!!

Chrome splitter is a big 'purveyor of the finest street chemicals' to me but each to their own.

Good luck and enjoy. Thumbs Up 405 AB exec seats Baltic and Cirrus

Nice one Mark.

Its an SE so it will have the upper sound system i think.
If you stop and press the stop button the car will automatically go into park.
I never use my park brake unless i'm on a hill.
Did i see auto side steps?

Cheers all.

Not got deployable side steps. Just the normal ones with front flaps.

Was gonna add rear flaps but not so sure now. Added them to my current one.

Only reason I ask about the stereo is that I have the stage 2 upgraded amp in my td6 and it's pretty good now.

Don't think I'll be disappointed though......

Found the manual on topix thanks. Have plenty of reading to do.

1200W one was an option.

What I suspect you will notice most is the smoothness of the drivetrain, particularly the gearbox - oh and just how few revs you are pulling at motorway speeds.

Before buying mine (very similar colour scheme to yours btw - nice) I drove a 3.6TDV8 and the 4.4, I thought the later engine and particularly the box were worth the extra, I will be interested to hear you thoughts on the difference from your current one.

My car has the Titan (dark grey) grill and dark splitter bar/fog surrounds (it is a 61 plate, reg'd in Sept 2011).

I was all up for changing the grill and splitter/fog surrounds to the 2012 version but (and I'll probably get shouted down for this Rolling with laughter ) I find it difficult to spot the difference between the later facelift 3.6's and the 2012 4.4's so have come to really like the Titan grill which distinguishes intervening model year period.

2 years on I am still amazed how quick and relatively un thirsty the 4.4 engine is, it's a joy on a run with so much power in reserve.
